Milan Daniels and Otrium co-founder Max first collaborated on a designer clothing start-up as new graduates, fresh out of university. Their experiences in the world of fashion soon led them to discover that excess inventory is a significant sustainability problem that needs fixing. Milan and Max founded Otrium to do just that. Milan has spent his early career at advertising agency Saatchi & Saatchi and as a result his focus is on brand and Otrium’s external relations and positioning. Having founded his first app at university, Milan has the digital expertise needed to run the technology that Otrium is built on with a drive to create, a digital mindset and an eagle eye for detail.  He co-led the company’s most recent funding round resulting in a £120 million investment and an expansion of the board and was recently awarded the accolade of EY’s Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year. Milan is a keen foodie, his first app brought this passion to life. DailyDish collected all the best daily dishes from local restaurants in one app. While it wasn't a runaway success it taught him the key principles he still deploys today - work with the best people and execution is everything.
