Soraya Benchikh is President of Diageo Europe and a member of Diageo’s Executive Committee. Appointed to the role in January 2023, Soraya is responsible for Diageo’s business across Europe, a region that spans six diverse markets and accounts for 30% of Diageo’s organic sales.

Soraya joined Diageo as Managing Director, Northern Europe in July 2020, successfully positioning the Northern Europe business as a significant and sustainable growth driver for Europe. She is known for her passion and determination to deliver results, as well as building strong, diverse and empowered teams to take on ambitious
performance goals.

 Soraya is French/Lebanese and has spent over 20 years in senior finance and general management positions at British American Tobacco (BAT) in Europe and Africa, and previously at General Electric and Gillette.
