Stefano Perego joined Amazon in July 2011 as Managing Director of Amazon Italia Logistica, with a strong focus on leadership development and the launch of Amazon Operations in Italy. In January 2014, Stefano moved to Luxemburg as Regional Director of Southern European Operations, heading fulfilment for France, Italy and Spain. In this role he led and developed a team of general managers responsible for thousands of employees and doubled the region’s footprint to several million square meters of fulfilment capacity.

In February 2016, Stefano moved to Seattle for a year as Technical Advisor Director of WW Global Operations, supporting the SVP for Worldwide Operations, before moving to the UK as VP Customer Fulfilment Operations and transitioning the network to Robotics.

In 2020, Stefano was promoted to the role of Amazon’s VP EU Customer Fulfilment and took under his leadership the fulfilment and supply chain networks across the continent, as well as EU Quality, External Fulfilment, EU Reliability Maintenance Engineering and Process Engineering functions 

In 2022, Stef took on his current role as a VP of Global Operations (North America & Europe), adding to his responsibilities the North America fulfilment network, Global Supply Chain, Global Procurement Organisation, Global Engineering Services and Product Assurance, Risk & Safety teams. 

Prior to joining Amazon, Stefano worked for ten years for Rexel, a worldwide distribution leader in electrical materials, as Ops Director (UK & Ireland).  Previously, he worked in Pharma Distribution for Phoenix AG and in manufacturing for Black & Decker.

Stefano has MSc MEng from Politecnico di Milano in Italy.
