Ayla has an extensive and rounded experience in Marketing, Product Innovation, Sales and General Management within major CPGs, Mars Inc, Colgate Palmolive, The Coca-Cola Company, Unilever and currently Danone.

She worked across numerous geographies and has a deep knowledge and interest in diverse cultures, emerging and developed markets, having worked and lived in France, UK, China, Australia, the NL, the USA and lately in the Middle East.

Ayla has a track record in strategic thinking and in-market execution with focus on delivering results. Her profound belief in doing good while doing business and passion for One Planet, One Health vision became a major attraction for her to join Danone about 2 years ago. She had been involved in developing and implementing numerous programs supporting sustainable living, some of which supporting deprived communities, refugees or empowering women built in collaboration with retailers and key partners. Ayla co-chairs the Coalition for Healthy Lives at the Consumer Goods Forum (CGF).

Ayla is a speaker at different global events such as the World Economic Forum, Global Food Summit, Global Sustainability Summit, LEAD Annual conference or Coalition for Impact (Dutch Government and UN). She also leads the collaboration between Danone and ESSEC Chaire Grande Consommation.

Ayla holds a Master’s degree in Applied Maths and Social Sciences from Dauphine University, a Master in Business Administration at EM Lyon as well as Business Executive Program at INSEAD and Harvard Business School.

She is a native of Syria and a proud mum of three teenage angels!!!
