Bruno Mourão is the Head of Ecosystem at Sonae MC. Sonae is a Portuguese conglomerate group with operations in different sectors as retail, financial services, telco, shopping centres and investment management and presence in more than 70 countries. Bruno joined Sonae in 2012 and is focused on Sonae MC, the core business of the group and market leader of the Portuguese grocery retail landscape. 

 Previously Bruno worked for several years in Big4 advisory in three different continents (Europe, Africa and South America) comprising different expertise areas as IT Strategy, Enterprise Architecture, Risk Management, Business Resilience, Internal Control/ Sarbanes-Oxley, Basel II and Data Loss Prevention. 

 Bruno is also significantly involved in several retail/technology communities as the National Retail Federation (ARTS Group), Consumer Goods Forum (E2E Committee), Shoptalk (Advisory Board), World Retail Congress (Advisory Board), Gartner (Enterprise Architecture Board), Forbes Technology Council, Object Management Group (Retail group) and several vendors’ advisory boards.
