Dirk Cohausz is a Partner at BCG X in Berlin, BCG’s tech built and design unit. Dirk focuses on building
cooperate ventures, with a focus on consumer facing ecosystems and marketplaces. He launched his first
startup as a student and has founded and operated consumer businesses in Shanghai, Berlin, and Zurich
afterwards. Most recently he launched 60beans, a drop shipping marketplace for specialty coffee.
Dirk’s passion for consumer businesses and eCommerce is complemented by his desire for innovation and
digital growth. He has been building Generative AI applications to increase marketing efficiency and to boost
consumer engagement.
He holds a master’s degree in history and political Science, a MBA from IMD, and a bachelor degree in Business
& Financial Journalism.
