Dr. Jan Philipp Wintjes started his career in the fashion industry in 2004, and joined Tommy Hilfiger in 2007. After holding several positions in both Tommy and PVH Europe, he was appointed Senior Director E-Commerce at the latter in 2018. In September 2021, Jan Philipp Wintjes joined HUGO BOSS as Vice President Global E-Commerce & Metaverse, responsible for Global ECom & Digital Sales, Metaverse, as well as Omnichannel Analytics & Business Intelligence. In October 2022, he became Senior Vice President of Global Omnichannel. In October 2023, he ascended to the role of Executive Vice President of Global Omnichannel. Jan Philipp Wintjes’ current responsibilities includes all global business functions within the Omnichannel organization to ensure and deliver exceptional premium customer experiences at all touchpoints, and provide an efficient and profitable omnichannel setup for HUGO BOSS. During his professional career, Jan Philipp Wintjes completed his Bachelor, Master, and Doctoral studies — finishing the latter at the Edinburgh Business School, Heriot-Watt University, with the analysis of omnichannel strategies for fashion retail brands.
