2024 Speakers

Julie has dedicated her career to driving change through ethical product creation and community focused initiatives. She started the Sustainability department at Free People after leading impact projects for over a decade with both global brands, including adidas, and nonprofits, such as Nest. Her work has led her from factory floors in the Americas and Europe to artisan coops in Central America and Asia.

Julie also sits on the Advisory Board of LIM College, and on nonprofits Boards: Mercado Global, Cuba Skate, and Girls Inc.. Julie holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Michigan and a bilingual MBA from IESE Business School. She currently resides in Barcelona, with her husband, son, and rescue pup.
