With over two decades of experience in the FMCG industry, Laura Hyland has held strategic and operational roles at leading global companies such as GSK Consumer (now Haleon), Henkel Consumer Brands, and BIC. She has a diverse background in brand marketing, innovation, shopper insights, category management, eCommerce, and retail media across multiple markets in the US and Europe. Since 2016, she has been a pioneer in driving eCommerce growth for Henkel and now BIC, leveraging her expertise to drive market-leading eCommerce growth at both companies. She is currently the Global VP of Digital and Commercial Strategy at BIC where she oversees the global commercialization strategies and execution of BIC’s masterbrand and category initiatives both offline and online including in-store distribution, digital shelf excellence, retail media, social media, and digital marketing. She enjoys working with BIC’s local teams around the world and leading a cross-functional team based in Connecticut and Paris, where BIC has dual headquarters. She resides in Connecticut with her husband Thomas and is passionate about golf, skiing, and travel.
