Paolo Joined eBay in 2005 in Italy as a Category Manager and then CFO. 

In 2009 he moved to Switzerland and then moved to London in 2011 where he held different Finance roles as CFO for UK, DE and various EU responsibilities.  

After a career in Finance Paolo moved back to a business leadership role in 2016 to take the responsibility as COO for UK supervising major strategic pivots in one of the most dynamic online markets. 

In 2020 during the pandemic he was offered the opportunity to collaborate with NHS and UK Army to build a portal supporting the distribution of PPE ( Personal Protective Equipment) across the thousands of UK Health outlets supplying billions of items in a short amount of time 

In 2021 he took  the opportunity to relocate to Switzerland and  lead eBay’s quest to scale its Cross Border Trade business across the globe through innovation 

Prior to his eBay career Paolo was a consultant with the Boston Consulting Group where he spent most of his time working on Retail Strategy projects for various Italian and global companies 

Paolo is also an active Angel Investor and Mentor supporting a wide range of startups from Social entrepreneurship to Sustainability. He has also recently joined the Board of ISL ( International School of Lausanne) to learn and contribute to long term education evolution.
