Stijn Demeersseman is Chief of Staff Amazon Fashion Europe where he is defining and leading the vision to make Amazon the most loved Fashion destination for Customers.  He joined Amazon in 2020 as General Manager in charge of the Medical Devices and Personal Care Appliances business. Stijn has been leading the Brexit transition, was the cross-functional champion for Amazon Peak period and leading the European partnership with the largest suppliers. Thanks to his unique background, Stijn has also been tasked to build future proof ways of partnering with top suppliers across the Amazon Advertising, Retail and Tech Solutions organisations.  

Stijn is a passionate xennial driven by transforming businesses and organisations addressing the consumer, employee, digital, channel and sustainability shift.  Social media, personalisation, creating holistic customer experiences, omni-channel retailer/supplier partnerships and agile business planning are at the core of what he is driving day in day out.  

Stijn started his professional career with a decade of diverse roles at Procter & Gamble, followed by a decade of General Management positions at L’Oréal. He lived, studied and worked in UK, Belgium, Switzerland, Norway, Ecuador, Australia and Singapore.  The Belgian native has a very open eye on the world with grassroots in the north of his homeland, close to Bruges and its delicious chocolates.
