Vlad Hanzlik is Senior Vice President, Content and Executive Editor at EMARKETER, a leading source of advertising, media, and commerce intelligence. In this role, he oversees a team of analysts and editors dedicated to delivering relevant, engaging, and actionable insights. Under his guidance, EMARKETER’s research draws on rigorous analysis and a rich collection of highly vetted, often proprietary data, helping retailers, brands, agencies, and vendors navigate today’s complex market. Whether it’s understanding evolving consumer behaviours, benchmarking digital performance, or identifying high-ROI media channels, Vlad ensures that decision-makers have the insights they need to anticipate emerging opportunities, optimize investments, and adapt confidently to shifting market dynamics.
Before joining EMARKETER, Vlad managed the Retail and Consumer Goods Industry Perspectives team at Salesforce, where his forward-looking research influenced executive decision-making and accelerated pipeline growth. He challenged established thinking by researching critical industry trends and inspiring clients to reassess their strategies. Previously, at The Boston Consulting Group (BCG), Vlad advised some of the world’s foremost retailers and consumer goods companies, applying data-driven methodologies to transform corporate strategy, enhance market positioning, and streamline store operations.
Vlad holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, with electives focused on digital innovation and retail, and a BA in Economics from the University of Cambridge, graduating with First Class Honours. Rooted in analytical rigor and data, he offers provocative, forward-looking insights into the evolving global retail and consumer landscape as it continuously transforms through digital innovation.
